The title of the work refers to an approximate estimate of the number of executions carried out in Belarus since 1985, according to the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs. As the most recent documents released by the Belarusian government date back to 2006, the exact number of those executed remains unknown.
The sculpture emerged through lived states of immersion and alienation. Formed through the interplay of forces embedded in the plastic material and its internal dynamics, it took shape through processes of tension and relaxation, opening and withdrawal, and between impulses towards coherence and confusion.
